Here is a short update from Romania:

The weather: hot,very hot.

Social climate: hot, very hot. Because the crises continues

Political climate: hot, very hot. The politicians here in Romania are still lying!

Spiritual climate: very cold

News about H2H Romania:

With God’s help, we can say that we have completed the projects we had planned for the first half of 2010.

Our 2009/2010 Transition Program has finished for our boys and girls. Only with God’s help all graduates have jobs and housing.

Two of our girls graduated from Beauty School and two of our girls are working at a large store on the cleaning crew. The boys are all working in construction. Continue to pray for them as they work... that they will work hard and with integrity.

My brother, Ghita Dragusanu ( Gogo) will again work with H2H. He will serve in our Aftercare Program for our transition graduates. This will be a great help and blessing for us, and especially for me. The past two years I have heard the “music” of our transition graduates when they needed advice, help, guidance, and encouragement. Gogo will provide stable counseling for these youth.

I have begun to look for new kids for the 2010/2011 Transition Program that will begin October 1, 2010. I continue address the challenges with the government for visas for our foreign staff and also with the Child Protection Agency and the orphanage directors. Some of my other responsibilities include housing and jobs for our graduates, relations with the bank and the bookkeeper for the funds that sustain us.

A very special thing for me this year was a great relationship with Doro, the administrator of BTH. (And also a brother of mine) It was a blessing to be able to assist and encourage him so that he could serve with all of his heart in the Boys Transition program. Please pray that we may continue this collaboration with Doro. Pray for Gogo too as he ministers with the boys after they finish our program.

A few more prayer requests:

• Pray that our boys and girls will continue to have their jobs.

• Pray that the new candidates for the Transition Program will understand the urgency of entering our program, and they will finish the program

• Pray that our staff will remain in unity... ( I personally felt a great unity within our staff, especially over the past 9 months)

• Pray that the economical situation will come to an end in Romania and in America.

• Pray for good health for H2H staff, supporters, and our families.

• Pray for the healing of our brother Thomas Sorrels.
